• We already have a videographer booked, does this affect me booking yourselves for my wedding photography?
Not at all, at AMD Videography we believe 100% in freedom of choice. It's your wedding and you can choose us for your wedding film, or wedding photography or both. We are totally professional and have worked with hundreds of other photographers including many of the top photographers in the world.
• How long does it take for us to get our wedding images?
We aim to get your proof images online within 2 weeks of your wedding day. During peak season this may extend a little and if this is the case we will let you know. You can also track the progress of your wedding through our AMD Studios Client Area.
we also offer a fast track priority editing option where we will edit your proof images within 3 woking days. The fast track editing is available as an optional extra.
• I'm nervous of being photographed, I don't like cameras in my face! How do you help me get around this?
At AMD Photography we have an excellent reputation for being very friendly, approchable and professional. We offer a complimentary pre-wedding shoot with most wedding packages where approximately six to four weeks before wedding takes place we invite you to attend a pre-wedding photoshoot. This lets us go over some of the photographs we will shoot on your wedding day and also helps you to feel more comfortable with being professionally photographed. It's this level of personal attention that lets you know you are working with a great team.
We then take your favourite images from the pre-wedding shoot, enlarge them and create a montage print for your guests to sign during your evening reception. This makes a fantastic keepsake from both your pre-wedding shoot and your wedding day.
Our cameras are superb and we do not need to be in your face to get a beautiful close-up. We are very discrete during the wedding ceremony, we wear smart attire during your wedding day and couples very often tell us how relaxed and enjoyable they found their photography experience.
• Can we change our photography package?
Of course, many clients do this as they get nearer to their wedding day. You are free to pick and choose between any of our packages before and after your wedding.
• How many of you attend our wedding?
In most cases two of us will attend your wedding to cover your wedding photography. For combined wedding photography and wedding videography packages upto five of our team will attend your wedding.
• Do you wear a uniform?
Yes we do. We certainly don't attend your wedding in jeans and a t-shirt! All of our crew wear the smart AMD Studios' uniform. We don't wear suits because we need to be identifiable, plus a suit can get a little restrictive when you need to move around quickly or carry equipment. The clothing we wear at wedding shows is the same uniform we wear to your wedding.
• How long does it take to get my wedding album?
Typically your final wedding album is ready 2-3 months after your wedding. Your proof photographs are online usually within 2 weeks and once you have viewed these you choose which images your would like in your album, most clients take about 1 month to make their choices. We will then begin the design process which takes 2 weeks. Once you have approved the final design all hand-made albums take 3 weeks to build (Not including Bank or Public Holidays).
• What format can I have my digital images in?
The most popular formats are high resolution JPEG. You can have your presented in many forms including:
DVD disc
Online download
USB stick*
USB credit card stick*
Personalised USB memory sticks*
*USB versions are an optional extra.
• Can I have my images edited in Adobe Photoshop?
We provide two different types of image editing, most commonly referred to as 'Photoshopping.' Depending on the photogaphy package you have chosen this will reflect the type of editing we will do to your images.
Type A: Normal Editing. This can include cropping, sharpening, exposure adjustments, white balance adjustments, conversion to monochrome and saturation adjustments. Type A Normal Editing is done during the creation of image proofs and is also standard for digital packages where no album is required or ordered.
Type B: Enhanced Editing. This can include all of 'Type A Normal Editing' as well as object removal, blemish removal, spot colour (Monochrome images with one colour shown), dramatic effects and compositing effects. Type B Enhanced Editing is standard for images placed into an album produced by ourselves.
If you have a digital package and you wish enhanced editing on some photographs this can be done for £10 per image.
